Hi, I'm Rogier Elshout — professionally a moderator and speaker, but moslty someone who gets far too excited about trains. New ones, old ones, shiny ones and rusty ones. Wherever I go, i visit railway museums.

This site is a modest attempt to document love for railway museums across the globe. Not because the world needs another list of train museums, but because I happen to visit them obsessively and figured I might as well turn that into something vaguely useful. You're welcome.

Ive created a map, dropped some reviews, and tried to capture how different countries tell their story through rails, rust, and nostalgia. The review completely depends on my mood, my caffeine levels and a one off impression. Purely subjective. I take no money from anyone for these nor do I take any responsibility. For anything.
